Truck Mixer Manufacturers Bureau
The object of the Bureau is to provide an instrument through which its members may coordinate their efforts in handling problems considered to be of common concern. The Bureau shall discharge the following responsibilities for its members:
a. Develop standards for truck mixers and agitators, with a view toward simplification and standardization of sizes and capacities, and other standards associated with the manufacture and use of truck mixers and agitators.
b. Provide an organization through which members of the Bureau may join in giving suitable public notice, by advertising and otherwise, to its efforts to produce economies for the manufacturers and users of truck mixers and agitators which will also serve the interest of the general public. The Bureau will have an ongoing advertisement and promotional effort to promote the use of the TMMB rating plate to the ready mixed concrete industry and the specifications on jobs where ready mixed concrete is in use.
c. Perform, in general, such other acts and services for its members and for the users of the products of its members as may lead to economies in manufacture and use, to higher quality of ready mixed concrete, and to better service for the members of the ready mixed concrete industry, and the public in general.
